I'm glad Natalie Portman is back (Female Thor Opinion)

Hey guys!

So...

Phase 4 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) was revealed and oohhhhh boy! There's a lot of news!

But for this post I wanna focus on Thor.

First (and best) thing we learn is that Taika Waititi is going to direct the 4th movie. He was the director of "Thor: Ragnarok".

Second thing we learn is that Natalie Portman a.k.a Jane Foster is back!

What do I think about that...

I'm happy about it.

For people walking on this earth since the second trilogy of Star Wars (at least) it will come as no surprise that Natalie has the fame of just being boring.

I'm not gonna be here saying that I was overwhelmed by her Jane Foster but she wasn't that bad either.

To be honest and simple with the reason why I'm happy is because its going to be the same actor 

playing the same character.

The best thing about Marvel is what you feel watching a movie and knowing what's behind. It's the sense of nostalgia. You only get there when you worry about certain details and maintain actors is a really good way of doing it.

First thing I said when I watch "The Avengers" 2012 was "sad they didn't cast Mark Ruffalo for the Hulk solo movie".

The reality is that most people don't even know that "The Incredible Hulk" 2008 belongs to the MCU.

Seeing Natalie, that clearly has been training by the way, coming back as Jane and become the Female Thor is going to be amazing, I'm sure. After Ragnarok, I trust Taika.

There is so much more about SanDiego comic con but I figure it would be more simple to talk about individual topics of this event.

"Thor: Love and Thunder" will be releace (apperently) November 5, 2021, EUA.

The delay of Thanos plan

Hey guys!

What I have for you today it's a bit different but I'm excited to start.

Since Infinity War, some people were left with some question. One of them being the reason why Thanos took so long to follow his plan trough.

This is a confusing topic so let's take this by steps.

1. What we know for sure:

- Thanos was behind the attack in NY; (The Avengers 2012)

- In order to Thanos destroy Xandar, Ronan the Accuser was after an orb has a payment for that service until he realize he didn't need Thanos help because of the power stone inside the orb; (Guardians of the Galaxy 2014)

- We do see Thanos with the goblet in a credit scene saying "I'll do it myself"; (Avengers Age of Ultron 2015)

- Thanos starts Infinity War only with the power stone and the goblet.

This means: Thanos has being planning having all the stones for at least 6 years (until infinity war). He tried to use other people to get them. His mission is to save the universe by killing half the population. That way the resources would last longer.

Even tough the post credit scene happen in 2015 doesn't mean it actually happen in 2015.

2. My thoughts:

It's really simple in my opinion.

Thanos waited to know where all the stones were. That way no one could stop him.
Who, you may ask? Well, because of the attack on NY he knows that The Avengers exist. Because of what happen on Xandar he knows about the Guardians of the Galaxy wish includes her adoptive daughter Gamora. So there's a lot of options.

Nebula attacked Thanos and you learn that he caught her in Infinity War. That means Thanos only learn the way to the soul stone after he caught Nebula and torture her.

So for me that's the reason, he wanted a clean plan and he succeeded.

Avengers Endgame (Honest Review)

Heys guys!

Just so you know, I am working on something a bit different for this blog. Its not a review. I'm really excited because I love writing. For people that follow the MCU Universe, we know there's a lot of sayings about Thanos and why he took so long to actually attack and see his plan accomplish. I have a theory for that and that's what I'm writing about.

For now let's do this review.

Now, I know my reviews are not exactly "reviews". Some are basically me saying that the movie is awesome.

Well... They are! If I say it its because I mean it! But for the most part I don't do a lot of the detail job that a review normally has.

But this movie is special.

There's just so much going on!

So let's to this.

After the tragedy of infinity war, the main characters were left with survivors guilt.

That same survivors guilt also made them very arrogant and thirsty for revenge. The first act of the movie is basically a blind attack on Thanos as soon as they know where he's hidden. 

They decapitated Thanos even tough he didn't had the stones. The first reason why they where able to find him its because he use the stones to destroy them all.

After that, 5 years later, everyone tries to find a way of dealing with the situation and move on, until Ant-Man is able to leave the quantum realm and "offer" a new opportunity, saying that the time in the realm works differently. 

Eventually everyone comes back by the end.

The movie is really well executed. We can see a version of professor hulk. Essentially Bruce embraces Hulk combining strength and intelligence. 

We also see Thor in a true viking manner as he drinks away his misery. He feels regret and responsible since he was the only one that came close to kill Thanos the first time.

We lose Black Widow, she sacrifice herself so they can get the soul stone.

We lose Iron Man as he use all the stones to kill Thanos and his entire army.

Gamora technically comes back. By the end of the movie, in the last scene, Thanos from 2014 knows about the Avengers's plan and finds a way of travelling to 2023. After Thanos's army vanish, Gamora from 2014 staid in 2023. She's missing.

Its the movie of a lifetime.

A don't remember crying this much since Infinity War.

I just wanna finish by saying thank you to all the actors that I will never get to see again in the movies and series to come. It's being an honor. You guys made my adolescence and adulthood .

Captain Marvel (Honest Review)

Hey guys!

I'm really excited for this one!

In all MCU history (over 10 years) as been a movie starting a female hero.

I've not being blind to all the controversy around this movie and the actress, but I do believe we can make a impartial opinion about the movie.

There's a difference between how the actors are in real life and what they can do on screen.

So let's do this!

Carol Danvers or Vers (the name she thinks she has) is, as she say, a noble warrior hero. Everything she knows about herself is that the Kree race saved her. They not only saved her, but also made a better version of herself by exposing her to "Kree tecnology". 

Carol only remembers the last 6 years of her life.

Throughout the movie you realize that Carol was indeed expose to Kree tecnology mix with the Tessacact, when a reactor explodes. Because she doesn't remember anything from the accident, they are able to control her by saying that her powers are a blessing that can be taken away.

The movie is a journey into her past. It's about what she's meant to become.

The movie is really well done. You get to know how S.H.I.E.L.D got the tessaract. It gives a good explanation about the absent of Carol after the 90's. She went with the Skrulls to help them find a home.

I'm really excited for Marvel's future!

Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald (Honest Review)

Celebrating pretty much 2 months without posting, I'm here with my fresh new review.
Just came from the cinema and I was not disappointed! But, one thing at a time.

Fantastic Beast is a prequel to the well none Happy Potter saga.

Summarize, the movie is about Grindelwald and his fight for the position of power in the world. He persuades wizards to follow his cause, by giving them the idea that he fights for everyone. He basically explores there weaknesses.

Following the path of the previews movie, (That I didn't review - yet!) Newt, Tina, Queenie and Jacob try to stop him. During that, there's a lot of sentimental sh*t going on that it's not really relevant for the sake of the review.

I loved the movie.

It doesn't have a all lot of action but it's visually stunning. The effects and the creatures never disappoint.

Emotionally confusing but cute at the same time. Like I said, exploring to the detail is not necessary. Newt and Tina barely know each other but the spark is there based on the crazy amount of jealousy on both sides created by miss understandings. Jacob and Queenie have this forever fight of not being able to be together in a appropriate way.

Lives you on a cliff, full of questions. Makes you want the next movie.

After 2h of entertainment on this magnificent universe you just feel like saying...

And if you want to say to me that "it's never gonna be like Harry Potter" or "this movies are not worth watching, especially in the cinema" to that my friend I say...
